Oracle recently acquired Datanomic, a leading provider of enterprise customer data quality software and related applications for Watch List compliance screening.
Datanomic’s products support the data quality and compliance requirements of some of the largest corporations in the world, spanning industries such as financial services, retail, insurance, telecoms and utilities.

As part of Oracle’s data integration and master data management (MDM) solution, the combination of the Datanomic data quality products and Oracle Product Data Quality is expected to provide leading data quality capabilities for any data domain, including purpose-built capabilities for customer and product data.
Datanomic’s products are already integrated and certified with Oracle Siebel CRM, Oracle Customer Hub (Siebel UCM) and Oracle Data Integrator so that existing customers of these products can take immediate advantage of the Datanomic products.
Datanomic’s products are developed on open standards and designed to enable pre-built data quality-based applications such as Watch List compliance screening that can be delivered both by Oracle and by Oracle’s partner community.
Datanomic brings its Risk and Compliance Screening application to Oracle. The application leverages the power of Oracle’s Data Quality platform to provide a best-of-breed solution to the highly topical challenges that companies face in managing their Know Your Customer (KYC) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) obligations.
The combination of Datanomic technology and Oracle Product Data Quality is expected to deliver improved data integrity across the enterprise, and lower cost and complexity of managing data.
